We assess abutments, chimney flashings, valleys and small roof areas for cracks, movement, failed joints and inadequate support. The right detail depends on the location and the existing roof construction. A surface patch may be only a temporary measure.

Detail the repair properly
The proposed scope should explain whether lead is repaired or replaced, how it is supported and fixed, and how joints into masonry are made. Adjacent tiles and mortar are considered too, so a flashing repair does not leave another water route unresolved.

Can old lead be kept?
Sometimes sound sections can remain. Splits, fatigue or unsuitable existing detailing may require replacement; assessment should guide that decision.
What does the quotation need to include?
Agree the assessment findings, materials, access equipment, waste handling, expected sequence, exclusions and how unforeseen defects will be approved. Prices and dates are confirmed individually.
What should I send with my enquiry?
Your postcode, a description of the roof and the issue, plus photographs taken safely from the ground. We will discuss whether an inspection is needed and what it involves.
What happens after the work?
Agree the handover information, maintenance guidance and any written warranty terms before booking. No particular guarantee is implied by this page.
